Welcome to Epic Universe. The first part of your journey is going to be, getting there. The easiest way is to put Destination Parkway and Epic Blvd in your GPS. This will take you to the intersection easily. Follow Epic Blvd and take the first right in the round about. Follow it until you reach the gate.
You'll need your ID from City Walk to pass through and if you have any questions, the Security Officer at the gate is willing to help you.
Once you come through, take a left and the first building on your left is where you pick up your radio. It should be labeled T1100. Go to the fark gravel parking lot to park and then head inside to get your radio. Bring a pen!
If this is your first time here, you're going to want to head on over to ID Processing afterward so they can help give you the access you need to do your job. So, grab that radio and head on over to the B1000 Building so we can get your ID access.
To get there, you're going to head back toward the gate and just keep driving until you see a large light blue building in the left some distance. If you missed it and you reached the large light blue buildings on the same road you're driving on, you're in the wrong place. That's the shipping and receiving warehouse. You've gone too far.
The place you're going it the same place the bus goes. Check the map on the bottom of this page if you have difficulties finding it, or just wait for a bus and get behind it and follow it until it's next destination.
The Team Portal entry has parking directly in front of it. There is both gravel and paved parking. Park in the gravel parking because you don't want to be too far away from your partner. Head inside and you will see the ID Processing on the last left hand door right before you reach the exit.
Now that you have your ID and the access you need, you shouldn't have any issues. Head on back toward Security Office.
We are going to go past the Security Office until we hit Building T-1145. There is parking on both sides of the road. Park in either place.
The path to the entrance starts with the stairs. Follow the stairs upward and onward and it will bring you to a gate. The gate is motion censored and it should be red. Move your hand in front of it, wait one second, then wave again, it'll turn green and let you in. Don't forget your ID though! You can't get back in without it.
Our Primary Mission is to support the client with their needs. On the opening shift, a sweep of the entire park and surroundings area should be conducted before opening. Our job description from that point forward is to monitor the radio and respond to calls as necessary while showing a presence at the entry. We will utilize our trademarked Casting and Tracking method to check guests as they enter the park.
We have numerous Secondary Missions. We can check busses and any rooms we have access to. We can go into the park, into Team Member areas, check company vehicles that are backstage, and we are able to conduct Team Member screening at building B1000 where they have a Team Member Security Screening Process already in place. We are able to train and acclimate our dog in all areas that we have access to. The client asks that we do not train on-stage unless the park is closed. The client also asks that we are diligent in guest service and providing our guests with any information that may help their time be truly EPIC. We are also here to support the Investigations Team with anything they need our support in. Everything we do, needs to have the #1 priority of SAFETY FIRST. The safety of your partner, you, the guests, and other team members.
